Expedited Order
My order was placed on a Friday and I requested and paid for expedited delivery.
Order had apart that was not in stock. Order was updated to reflect deliver of about 30 days. I contacted you the following Monday morning to have the one part canceled so the remaining parts order would process and ship. Was told my order would be shipped next day - Tues. Not exactly an expedited experience. What I expect in a situation like this is for you to contact the customer immediately once you saw the order would be delayed via phone.Especially since this was start of a weekend. Order could have been processed and shipped same day of order. Which is what I consider expedited delivery.You need to change your process so that if an order shows a back order of a part, you contact the customer immediately to discuss the back ordered part. If back ordered part is needed, then offer to create two orders - one for the back ordered part and one for parts in stock. This will allow in stock parts to ship per requested delivery. This is not a difficult change in your ordering software to flag orders that are expedited or next day delivery that have back ordered parts that cause delivery delays. I would expect to see this change the next time I order from you. If not I may look else where for parts.
