Power Drill, special hollow star driver

Removed screws that held bottom base to blender.
Stuffed wire back in to brush holder and bent folded end a little better to prevent it from happening again.
Out of ignorance I cut off rubber gear coupling and that is why I had to order new one.
The new one just screwed on to threaded motor shaft.

    , Butter Knife

Inserted butter knife through one of the slots in the grill area on the back of blender into one of the teeth on the "gear" that's attached to the axle that then allows you to keep the axle from spinning. Then unscrew the old coupling counter clockwise to remove it then screw the new coupling on clockwise and tighten.

Contrary to what I had read elsewhere, the coupler has a normal thread and came off CC Wise NOT CW. This information was key to make a simple screw off--screw on.
