Please note one rubber insulated cord is included per order, the cord protector is not included it is sold separately. To complete this repair you will need a screwdriver.

    2. Removed the old wiring from the terminals.
    3. Attached the new wires to the terminals.
    4. Closed the sander housing.

    1. Removed the rear housing of drill/ unscrewed
    2. Separated old cord protected
    3. Cut old wires
    4. Measured /cut / slipped on new cord protector
    5. Attached wires
    6. Soldered wires together
    7. Wrapped wires with electrical tape
    8. Replaced housing/ screws in place

    Cut through power chord

    Removed case screws
    Removed case
    Removed cord anchor screws
    Removed trigger screw to access power cord spring catch
    Pulled tape cover from power switch unit and replaced later
    Removed black and white wires and old cord
    Measured new cord cut and stripped wires
    Used small prod to hold open wiring jaws to insert new wires
    Reverse order to reassemble

    Remove the front handle cover.
    Remove cord clamp.
    Disconnect cord wires from the switch.
    Slide the cord protector on the new cord.
    Connect the new cord wires to the switch.
    Attach cord clamp.
    Attach the front handle cover.
