Product Description ?

This replacement cord is specially produced for Milwaukee power tools. This item is supplied directly from original equipment manufacturer. The purpose of a power cord is to deliver electricity from an outlet to the tool. This cord is rubber insulated and it is sold individually. Please note, the protector/grommet is sold separately.

Replacing this cord is simple task that should only require a screwdriver.

• Remove the housing screws
• Separate housing pieces
• Disconnect wires from the old cord
• Remove old cord and secure the new one
• Reassemble and test the unit

    tI’ve had grinder 45 years. Needed a cord and a tune-up. And some lil’ Polish!..

    Screwdriver, Wiring tools.. Wire stripper, wire cutters, wire crimpers.

    Dis-assembled Handle. Btw always make sure it’s not plugged in First! Removed worn out wiring. Test fitted wire into handle. Trimmed and crimped new appropriate size connectors. Re-installed cord to handle. Re-attached handle to main body. Since I’m working on it, I removed the head and brushes to regrease the head and replaced brushes and inspect and clean stator... then a little 409 and a lil Polish, she looks brand new..... ready for another 45years!..

    1. I removed the control panel, 4 screws.
    2. I removed the 4 hex screws from the magnet base.
    3. I removed the grounding screw and the 2 screws that hold the special power cord in place.
    4. I unplugged the black and red wires from the circuit board and pulled the cord out and away.
    5. I used the old cord to help me to know how long the three wires would need to be as I put the new spade connectors on the red and black wires and the eyelet on the green wire.
    6. Once this was completed I just reversed the process to put it back together.

    Needed new power cord

    Take saw handle apart. Recognize connections before removing old cord. Install new cord identical manner-make certain that indents on inner handle catch the collar on cord that fixes it to saw. Voila! Done

    Remove the switch handle half
    Remove the cord wires from the switch, remove the old cord
    Connect the new cord wires to the switch
    Attach the switch and the switch handle half to the saw

    Took the base off, took the wires loose, and pulled the cord out. Reversed the procedure to install.
