Screwdriver, Socket set, Wrench Set, Nutdriver, star bit, hammer, longer threaded bolt for shaft removal
Remove and replace thread control using star bit for clamp screws. Adjust lever position.
Remove battery and battery shelf. Remove mower deck. Unbolt steering gears support bracket.
Remove steering shaft support bracket using longer bolt to drive pivot shaft over 1/2 way.
Mark position of pivot gear on knurled pivot shaft in order to reposition correctly.
Remove pivot gear retaining spring clip to allow pivot gear to slide along pivot shaft.
Remove inside bolt holding steering shaft support bracket onto the steering shaft.
Reassemble everything in reverse order installing the new black nylon steering support bracket.
Remove battery and battery shelf. Remove mower deck. Unbolt steering gears support bracket.
Remove steering shaft support bracket using longer bolt to drive pivot shaft over 1/2 way.
Mark position of pivot gear on knurled pivot shaft in order to reposition correctly.
Remove pivot gear retaining spring clip to allow pivot gear to slide along pivot shaft.
Remove inside bolt holding steering shaft support bracket onto the steering shaft.
Reassemble everything in reverse order installing the new black nylon steering support bracket.
