Product Description ?

This is an original replacement part manufactured for use with walk-behind lawnmowers. The plastic control lever allows the operator to engage the self-propel feature of lawnmowers. This lever includes the handle, and hardware to mount it, please note the cable is available separately. The control lever assembly is sold individually.

    Control lever broke and drive wheels were lacking tread

    Screwdriver, Socket set

    1. Unplugged the spark plug
    2. Removed the 4 screws on control level assembly
    3. Exchanged the old parts for the new parts
    4. Replaced the 4 screws

    1. Removed the nut with socket wrench on the front drive wheels
    2. Exchanged tires
    3. Replaced the nut on the front drive wheels

    The whole process was very simple

    Put the existing cable into the drum socket on the lever and assembled the unit around the main arm by the two screws.

    1. Removed existing cable housing and control cable.
    2. Installed parts.
    3. Added an extra spring to lower unit.
    4. Tie wrapped control cable to handle
