This is an authentic manufacturer sourced replacement part used on lawn mowers/tractors. It connects the mower engagement lever to the idler arm on the mower deck and allows you to engage and disengage the blades. Includes bold and the zip tie.
You may need Pliers to complete this repair.
• Remove the cable end from the control head and install the new one
• Now you can run the new cable down to the control handle
• Attach the other end of the cable
• Tie the cable in place just as the old one was, but leave enough clearance and free play to avoid over-bending and breaking the new cable

So instead of removing all covering pieces to the lawnmower head, I just used a long screw driver and Needle nose to remove the existing cable. I started from the bottom attaching it to the pulley and mount with the existing pins just above the blades housing and then followed the exiting cable up so you know the path that it needs to follow. I have to admit there is a hole it has to go through in the frame just before it reaches the lever that's a little tricky but won't take much time at all. After its through the hole, here's where you attached it to the lever, then attach it to the mount just below the lever.
Again not to bad, should take about 20 min with no removal of coverings. Add about 15 min to remove app plates and coverings, but remember where everything goes. Its more tricky.
