This is an original part from Ryobi for use with Lawn Tractors. The choke control cable connects the choke control knob on the dashboard to the choke plate on the carburetor. The choke control allows a richer fuel mix in the carburetor, making cold-starting the lawn tractor easier. The most common reason for replacing the choke control cable is if you are having trouble starting the engine. This part is sold individually. The tools that you will need to replace the choke control cable is a flat-head screwdriver, nut driver and snap ring pliers

Repair was easy, required Phillips screw driver to remove the cable from the carburetor and a flat head to remove the clip that helps secure the cable to the dash, then remove the old cable and reverse assembly to install the new
