I replaced the carburetor on the lawn mower. It took me 10 minutes, a 10mm nut driver and a T-20 torx screwdriver.
I took off the air filter, undid the two 10mm nuts and the 10mm bolt. disconnected the fuel line, unscrewed the front linkage mount on the top of the carburetor and disconnected the butterfly linkage from the thermostat linkage. Then I undid the governor linkage off the back of the carburetor.
Then I pulled the carburetor off the mower, changed out the vacuum linkage from the old carb to the new carb and put it back in the same way as I took it off.
Let it sit for about 10 minutes to refill the float bowl while I put the tools away. It started on the 2nd pull and has run fine ever since.
Will not run
