This is a genuine Husqvarna and Jonsered replacement part for use in blowers. The carburetor plate goes between the gasket and the carburetor boot. A screwdriver and a nutdriver may be needed during the replacement of this part. It is made out of plastic and will need to be replaced if it breaks. This item is sold individually.

    Socket set, Wrench Set, Set of torxs is required and meteric wrenches

    I took the entire blower apart but keep in mind it got one bolt on the fan side that is left hand threads

    hard starting & fuel leakage

    removed necessary housing and covers; removed carburetor and attached filter housing; removed fuel lines.

    removed engine from inner housing to access screws which secured carburetor plate. replace plate, attached boot.

    reassembled and tested.

    Blower running to lean and would just die from sucking to much air from the torn rubber manifold.

    Removed old carburetor boot and plate and replaced with new OEM parts. Reassembled the blower and fired right up on the first pull and has been running perfect ever since.

    Hand held blower running bad, cracked carburetor plate

    Remove the air filter assembly
    Remove the two nuts securing the air filter base, be careful with the gasket
    Slide the carburetor off of the screws, be careful with the gasket
    Remove and replace the carburetor plate
    Reassemble in reverse order

    Remove complete air filter assembly, then carburetor. Remove broken carburetor plate. The reverse the disassembly process. You mat want to replace the carburetor gasket.
