A screwdriver and a nutdriver may be needed during the replacement of this part. It is made out of plastic and will need to be replaced if it breaks. This item is sold individually.

removed engine from inner housing to access screws which secured carburetor plate. replace plate, attached boot.
reassembled and tested.
Blower running to lean and would just die from sucking to much air from the torn rubber manifold.

Remove the two nuts securing the air filter base, be careful with the gasket
Slide the carburetor off of the screws, be careful with the gasket
Remove and replace the carburetor plate
Reassemble in reverse order
