This is an Original Manufacturer Approved Carburetor Kit which includes a Metal Body Walbro WT89 Carburetor, Plastic Grommet and a Plastic Air Filter Housing. It is used on a variety of Poulan Gas Powered Chainsaws. The purpose of this part is to mix air and gas before the fuel mix goes to the engine. If the engine won\'t start and the tank is full of fresh fuel, test the carburetor by removing the air filter and pouring about a teaspoon of fuel into the carburetor. Pull the starter rope. If the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem.

With the help of eReplacementParts, I got all the parts needed and the correct ones! Because the Walbro carburetor manufacturer is notorious for discontinuing one model and replacing it with another, I had to have help and assurance in selecting the correct parts. The carburetor model that was on my saw was replaced with a newer version. eReplacementParts rep made sure I got the right one!
I have done business with eReplacementParts for several years now and, with their excellent and fast service, along with excellent prices, I'll continue to buy my equipment parts from them!!
Thanks eReplacementParts!!!

2. Find a video on You Tube that applies to your specific application.
3. Follow the instructions from the video, after collecting the necessary tools to make the repair. Be sure to use a well lighted work area.
4. It was helpful to print a diagram of the fuel line routing.
5. Make sure to replace all old fuel lines and filter while you have the saw disassembled as well as a new spark plug.
6. New fuel lines pull in easy with dental floss tied to them for a pull string.
7. Re-assemble the saw following fuel line schematics and referring to the video. Tighten all bolts to specifications and add new fuel. I also added a new priming bulb to complete the rebuild.
