This replacement carburetor gasket is specially made for use with gas chainsaws. It is supplied directly from original equipment manufacturer. This gasket provides an air tight seal between the carburetor and the plate. It is made out of compound material and it is sold individually. You will need a screwdriver and a wrench to complete this repair.

2. Removed air filter and mounting.
3. Removed carburetor.
4. Replaced gasket.
5. Installed carburetor
6. Installed air filter and mounting hardware,
7. Replaced outer cover,
8. Refilled with fuel and lubricant.
9. Tested assembly.
The plastic impulse pipe was no longer making a good seal (20 year old saw - original equipment).

2) Removed the air filter/air filter plate/carburetor/carburetor plate.
3) Replaced the impulse pipe between the cylinder head and carburetor plate.
4) Reinstalled the carburetor plate & carburetor (replacing the old gasket - making sure the fuel line was routed where it was not kinked, or crimped).
5) Reinstalled the air filter plate and replaced the air filter.
6) Reinstalled the shroud.

Remove the screws holding the old carburetor on, and remove the old gasket
Install the new gasket and the new carburetor
Connect the fuel lines and the throttle
Replace the air filter assembly
