Product Description ?

This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement carburetor which is specially designed for use with Honda engines commonly installed on lawn and garden equipment. The purpose of this part is to mix gas and air before the fuel mix goes to the engine. If the engine won\'t start and the tank is full of fresh fuel or if the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem. Please note this metal body carburetor is sold individually. When replacing carburetor it is advised that you also replace gaskets to ensure the proper air-tight seal for optimum performance.

Pressure washer would only run on choke. When placed to run, it would die.

Removed and replaced carburetor and it fixed the problem. Now the pressure washer runs when the choke is placed to the run position and it speeds up when squeezing the pressure washer wand in order to produce full pressure. Tried cleaning the carburetor twice before replacing it with no luck. Used acetone, very thin wire and fishing line for the very small passages. None of that worked. Ryobi pressure washer with Honda engine.
    1. Remove the air filter.
    2. Remove the 2 bolts holding the carburetor on. Pay attention to where the 2 gaskets are behind the air filter housing.
    3. Remove the plastic piece that surrounds the carb. It is the housing for the air filter. There is a rubber hose on the back that needs to be pulled off.
4.Disconnect the fuel line going to the bowl. Have to pinch the wire clamp with small pliers to loosen and slide it up the line so its not holding the line on bowl fitting.
    5. Disconnect the linkage on top of the carb (3 places).
    6. Put new carb in place of the old one and do the steps above in reverse order to put back together.

I located your you tube video on how to replace a Honda carburetor on a lawn mower and I watched it. Even though it is not the same machine as mine The carburetors were much the same. And I was able to change out mine with the help of that video. Thank you.

Removed air filter and carburetor assembly. Took a picture of linkage etc before disconnecting
noted gasket and related parts . Used all new gaskets.and reassembled in reverse order. Turned gas back on and started engine. With the reasonable price of a new carb it is much quicker to replace than repair the old one.

Removed old carburetor and replaced with new carburetor--Should have ordered gaskets with unit, but did not so used old gaskets--works ok--first time I ever worked on an engine of any type. Would recommend buying carb with gaskets . Lady taking order was very helpful in finding me the right part and very courteous too--should have asked for her name so she would get credit -she may have said but I probably did not catch it
