This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement carburetor which is specially designed for use with Honda engines commonly installed on lawn and garden equipment. The purpose of this part is to mix gas and air before the fuel mix goes to the engine. If the engine won\'t start and the tank is full of fresh fuel or if the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem. Please note this metal body carburetor is sold individually. When replacing carburetor it is advised that you also replace gaskets to ensure the proper air-tight seal for optimum performance.

1. Remove the air filter.
2. Remove the 2 bolts holding the carburetor on. Pay attention to where the 2 gaskets are behind the air filter housing.
3. Remove the plastic piece that surrounds the carb. It is the housing for the air filter. There is a rubber hose on the back that needs to be pulled off.
4.Disconnect the fuel line going to the bowl. Have to pinch the wire clamp with small pliers to loosen and slide it up the line so its not holding the line on bowl fitting.
5. Disconnect the linkage on top of the carb (3 places).
6. Put new carb in place of the old one and do the steps above in reverse order to put back together.
