Product Description ?

This genuine carburetor assembly is sourced from original equipment manufacturer for use with Subaru/Robin engines. Carburetor is a crucial component of a gas powered engine because it supplies a combustible mixture of gas and air needed for the engine to run. This carburetor has a metal body and it is sold individually. It is recommended to replace gaskets when replacing carburetor to ensure top performance.

You would need a wrench to complete this repair.

    After taking the bowl off of the carberator it became clear that a new carberator was going to be needed. I just had to remove the fuel tank and control panel for access to the carberator. Swap in new carberator and reassemble. Set idle speed and my snowblower is good to go at a fraction of what a repair shop would have charged.

    Getting old ND needed some TLC

    I cleaned the Engine, changed the Oil, replaced the Spark Plug replaced the coil assembly and replaced the Carb that was in bad shape. It went pretty smooth. You just have to lay out your parts and take your time.

    Carburetor leaking

    Screwdriver, Pliers, Socket set, Wrench Set, Nutdriver, Flashlight, inspection mirror, hose pliers

    Pinch off fuel line, disconnect spark plug wire, remove heat shields, and belt covers, disconnect fuel line and primer tube. Removed old carburetor, and gaskets. Replaced with new parts. Replaced covers etc. Fresh fuel and test. Works perfect.

    Snow blower would not start. Fuel tank had holes, Carb bowl was rusted and full of water.

    1. Remove the key, choke knob, and throttle knob.
    2. Remove plastic shroud over carburetor.
    3. Disconnect wires to safety key.
    4. Remove primer bulb hose and fuel line from carburetor. If there is gas in the tank, clamp the hose to prevent gas from pouring out.
    5. Disconnect spring and linkage from carburetor and slide carburetor off the bolts noting the location of the gaskets.
    6. Remove start switch for access to the tank bolt.
    7. Remove the V belt housing cover between motor and blower hood.
    8. Remove the 3 tank bolts.
    9. Clean all the gaskets and sealing surfaces for the carburetor and begin assembling the unit.
    10. Clean the spark plug and change if needed.
    11. Check the oil level and fill or change as needed.
    12. Start it and let it run to make sure there are no issues.

    Removed all shrouds needed. Removed carburetor. Replaced gaskets and new carb. Worked great!!

    Removed gas tank and cleaned it to remove all the old gas. Removed the carburetor and installed new one and replaced the spark plug. All parts was purchased from replacement parts. I hope you keep carrying parts for the items I have.

    I started by watching 2 You Tube videos on carb replacement, it was the most involved. Many parts had to come off and in a special order for repair. The Parts ordered fit perfect and all were as listed.
