  • Easy to replace, hard to get to
Was given a Troy Bilt snow blower that did not run and a few other problems. Once and the covers that are on it are removed you Get to the carb, solid with sludge. Ordered a replacement. Covers back on and started right up.

    Quality part replacement.
For the price there should be gaskets available and included. However, engine started on the second pull and ran very smoothly. Pay the extra $ and stay away from ethanol gas and cheap replacement carbs!

    Just what I expected
Everything came in great shape and was delivered as scheduled. Should work fine now if it ever snows.

The Yard Man never seemed to work quite right since the day I bought it but over the course of the winter it had gotten worse and after Googling, I figured it was a bad carb. I was right.

The hardest part was getting at it, but I found two good YouTube videos. One on taking the carb off (that took about two hours). And one on putting things back together.

It now works better than it ever has. Just in time for summer!

Removed all of the shrouding, ignition wire and fuel line. Two studs actually held the carburetor to the engine, removed these and carefully removed carb not damaging the gaskets so they could be reused. Installed new carb, attached the ignition wire, fuel line and replaced the shrouding. Two pulls on the starter rope and engine fired up and ran great.
