Product Description ?

Genuine Milwaukee replacement part

Includes 1 carbon brush with wire lead attached, Sold individually

• Worn brushes are often the cause of a poorly running motor
• Replacing brushes can fix an intermittent motor
• New brushes can restore a motor’s electric braking

Carbon motor brushes are one of the most commonly replaced power tool components.  Because carbon brushes are wear items, meaning that through friction and use they will gradually wear away, they will eventually require replacement.  Worn brushes are common causes of intermittent motor function, reduced electric braking, and reduced motor power.  A worn out brush will often be worn down near the wire lead and may be cracked, pitted, or burned.  When replacing carbon brushes, be sure to also inspect your armature for burns, cracks, or other damage which indicates a larger motor problem.

Back up and running in no time at all!
The parts needed (csrbon brushes) were easy to find on the website. They were easy to order. They arrived quickly. We used three sets to fix three grinders and had them up and running quickly. We kept three spare sets for the next time they need replacing. Sweet!

Great site. Love it! Parts worked great.
My husband has soooooooooo many old tools that it is great to find a place that he can get parts for them.......no one in town carries most of the replacement parts. I will definitely keep this site on hand.

    Carbon brush- only one
Part received good, but only one brush came in the package. I thought I purchased two, as it was not clear on the description, and normally two come together. Not happy!

on the backend of the grinder is a door to get into the brushes and switch. I removed the door and found one of the brushes and the holder were out of location. I replaced the brush and reinstalled the holder correctly and replaced the door. test ran the grinder and it was OK.
