Tools Used

, Rages for water that drips out of drain pipe

First you put down the rags to catch any water that might drain out when you unscrew the plunger cable. Once you have the cable unhooked you can pull out the washer that holds the cam in place and than pull out the cam and the drain plug. Now you can reverse the procedure holding the plunger up a little bit and put the cam with the point straight up. Once all that is done put washer back in with the gear notches outward and flush with the thread body. Screw back on the cable and the repair is ready to test. If the plunger does not work the cam was not in the up position. And you will have to disassemble and reassemble with the plunger up a little bit and the cam pointing up. The First time it takes a little time but gets a lot easier.
