The clutch cable connects the control lever to the clutch in the drive system in the snow blower. The most common reason for replacing the clutch cable is if it is broken, causing the snowblower wheels not to turn. This part is sold individually. The tools that you will need to replace the clutch cable is a 3/8” socket and a 7/16” socket.

2. Removed the old belt.
3. Removed the tension arm and extension spring, including the cable clutch
4. Remove the top cover of the snowblower.
5. Replaced the extension spring, cable clutch and auger belt.
