    Screwdriver, Pliers, Socket set, Wrench Set

    Removed the old cable. It is very important to note how the old cable is routed through the housing, connected to the clutch spring lever arm, and run under the plastic roller wheel prior to disassembly. Also, a cable tie (not included) has to be cut and a new one installed. This keeps the cable sheath against the handle and out of close proximity to the exhaust pipe. I found it easier to remove the tension spring form the lever arm before attaching the end of the new cable to the arm. It was easy to reattach afterward with a needle nose pliers.

    Removed idler wheel, removed broken cable installed new cable and reused idler wheel.
    Removed safety cover over belt, installed new belt and replaced cover.
