2. Remove cover from drive unit.
3. Remove drive cable.
4> Thread new cable through hole in deck and attach hook to drive unit so that pulling the handle will raise unit and engage drive belt. clip cable housing to deck.
5. Thread new cable into the lever assembly and reattach to the handle.
6. Adjust cable length by turning the cable housing at the handle assembly until the drive mechanism is engaged when the handle is squeezed to the mower handle bar.
7. Replace drive mechanism cover to deck.
