Too much slack in front end and steering parts

James - August 4, 2023
Tool Type

Lawn Tractor

Difficulty

Medium

Time

30-60 minutes

Tools Used

Screwdriver, Pliers, Snap ring pliers, punch, hammer, end cutting pliers for cotter

Took off front tire after I jacked it up, replaced cotter pins, replaced old grease with new one for bearing. Knocked out the bushing and replaced with new one, added shimm washer to make tires fit properly on axle. Done same thing on the other side. Replace steering wheel bushing with new one. Adding shims to it to make it tighter also. Grease up outer bearings on both sides, finish up job and put mower back on ground.
