Product Description ?

This is a high-quality manufacturer-sourced part which is made for use with Briggs and Stratton engines commonly installed on lawn and garden equipment. It helps to distribute the pressure evenly and provide a tight seal for the breather. Over time it may become brittle and begin to crack eventually requiring a replacement. For the proper application please refer to the appropriate diagrams of your model. This high-quality part is made of durable composite material and is sold individually. You will need a screwdriver and a wrench set to remove and reattach the breather.

Intake and breather gaskets bad in B&S 11 hp lawn tractor

    Screwdriver, Nutdriver

Stem of intake valve chewed up, and would no longer hold valve spring retainer for any length of time. After replacement and reassembley, the intake gasket was found to be broken, and breather gasket was also leaking oil. I had to order the gaskets. When they arrived, installation was easy. Two bolts through the intake and gasket, attached the assembly to the block using a screwdriver. The breather gasket was even easier, scraping off the old breather gasket with a razor blade, and replacing with the new gasket. A 5/16 nutdriver tightened the two holding screws for the breather cover, and that was it. All done!
