If the bracket is faulty, the rack and fence will be unstable and unable to hold dishes leading to potential damage to the items and the internal components of the dishwasher. To begin the repair, pull the lower rack out from the dishwasher. Identify and pull off the faulty brackets. Attach the new brackets to the designated slots and ensure the fence is securely fitted before returning the rack to the dishwasher.
