Hard to find essential part
Thanks to replacement for exploded diagrams for parts to my Ryobi C430. The screw that holds the shaft from twisting around the motor head fell out. I went to Ryobi and other sites trying to find a replacement screw with no luck. ereplacementparts saved the day!

My instructions? Go to eReplacement Parts and find what is needed. Look up your equipment. Find the exploded parts diagrams and look for the needed part. Then order it! The part I needed is not carried by Home Depot or Lowe's. But eReplacement Parts had it. Whew. Then just screw it in the upper shaft.

Trimmer has attachments and the cable from the power unit was warn out from on and off attachments. I had to buy the upper boom assembly and it worked.

I removed the old upper boom assembly and proceeded to reassemble the way the old one came off. I recommend watching the wiring to the on-off switch that it slides into the protective slot.
