Product Description ?

This replacement blade is specially made for use on riding lawn mowers and tractors. It is a genuine OEM sourced high quality item, it is not an aftermarket imitation. Usually two of these blades are used to cut the grass. Please note, this durable metal item is sold individually. To replace it you will need a wrench to remove the blade bolt.

    -Raised mower's rear wheels to access underneath mower deck and blades.
    -Secure mower in raised position.
    -Note existing blade position on each side and put new blade in same configuration.
    -Unbolt & remove old blade, clean mower deck while no blade is on deck (easier access to area).
    -Align new blade with the original blade position and install with set nut.
    -Repeat setup with the other side of mower deck.

    1 Removed all retainer pins
    2 Detached belt and engagement cable
    3 Removed old deck from mower
    4 Placed both decks next to one another
    5 Removed old components one at a time and installed on new deck
    6 Re-threaded belt
    7 Placed new deck on under mower and connected engagement cable
    8 Connected deck to mower and installed all retaining pins
    9 Connected belt to engine pulley

    Regular maintenance blades damaged from normal operation

    Removed back cover to access transmission pulley. Removed guide bolt. Changed both blade-drive and ground-drive belts. Also changed both blades. Parts were exact fit. No problems

    1. REMOVE SPARK PLUG WIRE FROM SPARK PLUG.

    2. Made a note of how the blades are oriented.

    3. Remove blades.

    4. Install new blades.

    5. Place spark plug wire back on spark plug.

    Clutch cable had broken and blades in need of replacement

    1. To replace the clutch cable, remove the gas tank first so it is easier to get to the cable.

    2. I find it easier to replace the blades by removing the deck. It only takes about 15 min. to remove the deck, change the blades and then reinstall the deck.
