Wrong part, no match for OEM
I ordered this part because the site said it was a replacement for the mower. I used the original part number. The replacement part shows the same number. It is NOT the same part. The original part has a six point star center. This has a simple round hole. I had to re order from another source to get the right part.

Remove the blade nut and two washers, then the blade. Make sure you don\'t lose the blade adapter. Then place the blade adapter back on the spindle then the new blade. The place the washers in the correct order, then tighten the blade nut.
Lifted front end of mower and placed on 3 ft. 2x4
Removed mower blade retainer nut , washers and blade found had a broken blade adapter.
then found mandrel was bad.
Removed mandrel Bolts which one of them snapped off.
Removed mower deck pin so front of deck swung down
Removed Mandrel with pulley etc.

... Read moremoved pulley and put on New mandrel.
Put mandrel and pulley back into position raising the mower deck and putting pin back in place; had to fight with the belt a little bit. Put bolts in place, tightened them up for mandrel, put blade adapter on then Blade washer and nut and tightened that down and lowered front of lawn mower.
