Bolt holding blade and adapter on really tight. Soak with Kroil or other penetrating oil. Use flat wrench on bolt and a lever bar (long screwdriver or steel rod capable of not bending) to work against blade to loosen bolt. When loose bolt can be removed quicker with socket wrench. Remove blade and slide adapter off engine shaft (may have to use wheel puller if on tight). Slide or drive on new adapter lining up lug or key in spline cut on engine shaft. Place new blade grass side down on adapter making sure the nubs on adapter are in the holes of the blade. Insert and tighten bolt really tight.

First I got the wrong blade off of Amazon then I researched and found your website and I wrote the blade number so I can get the right one. It was a curvy blade and it was right size but it did not have the two holes on the side. How I replaced the blade is I flipped the lawnmower over and took the other blade off with some kind of pliers. Then I put the new blade face down to the ground and tightened it. Then I turned the lawnmower to the ground and cranked it and it worked. It was a great fit. Thanks
