This is an original replacement part manufactured for walk behind lawnmowers. The steel blade control is mounted to the top of the handle. The blade control is pressed to the handle to start and operate the lawnmower, then is released to stop the engine. This blade control is sold individually, please see model diagram for additional parts that are available separately.

The throttle control bar broke and the throttle cable was rusted and crimped to where it was not moving through its protective rubber cover.

2) With a wrench, take off cover for throttle control.
3) Unhook the cable from the handle, the plate by the control (by squeezing the inside piece you can pull it through), and finally from the throttle control itself.
4) Put new cable on, hook it through the throttle control and the blade control holes, and secure it.
5) Replace cover and test.

2. Replace air filter, make sure you follow markings on the new air filter.
3. Tighten with a flat screwdriver.
4. Remove spark plug cable and then use a Pliers or socket to remove the Spark plug.
5. Check the gap on the old spark plug and make sure new spark plug is at the same gap size.
6. Insert new spark plug and tighten snug.
7. Loosen Blade control by flexing the handle. slide out cable and then slowly move the blade control out of another side of the handle.
8. Insert right side of blade control into the handle, then insert the cable into the left side and carefully flex handle to get the left side of blade control into the hole.
No control bar.
