Tool Type

Hedge Trimmer

Difficulty

Hard

Time

30-60 minutes

Tools Used

Screwdriver, Pliers, Wrench Set, Nutdriver, Require Torx screwdrivers with long stem

- Removed all plastic covers with wires and switches.
- Disassembled the old blade assembly from the reduction gear box mechanism.
- Removing the two screws was very hard because they had plastic inserted nuts to prevent
loosening. The nuts were so tight just so the plastic part started to crumble while the
nut head was deep in the plastic and not accessible.
- Assembling was very easy since the new screws with nuts were screwing much easier even with
the plastic insert against self-loosening.
- Caution, the whole trimmer has complex assembly so you better remember which part goes
where when disassembling or you won't be able to put it back.
