This is an original Snapper replacement part manufactured for use with riding lawnmowers. Lawnmower blades can wear out over time causing the grass blade to fray diminishing the look of the lawn. 2 Slide deck from under mower taking care not to damage blade engagement cable.
3 Turn deck upside down exposing blades
4 Remove one blade using impact wrench and holding blade with hand protectd by work glove. (If impact wrench wrench is not available, block blade firmly with solid wood between blade and deck. Turn bolt with box end of wrench. Use of product like WD40 may be required if nut/bolt is rusty.)
5 Identification on blade should indicate top (towards deck) or grass side. One can also copy other blade. Rotate new place into position ensuring star pattern hole in blade seats firmly in identical pattern on pulley.
