    Easy

    Time

    15-30 minutes

    Tools Used

    Socket set, Wrench Set, Nutdriver

For Blade: Lift Lawn Tractor onto rear stands to reveal blade and remove with 3/4 in. Socket and Wrench (2 Bolts). Since this is an "air lift" blade the lift "wings will have to be transferred to new blade (3 bolts each on two wings). Add anti-seize to bolts before reattaching.

For Belt: Set cutting deck to lowest level for easy removal of belt shield. Remove belt shield and loosen guides to remove and replace belt. Shifting to a high gear can help with getting belt past engine pulley. Reattach guides and adjust belt, then re-install shield.

The only hard part is getting the belt past the drive system to the drive pulley off the engine without lifting the engine, I could not find any instructions for replacing belt but loosening engine mounting bolts gave enough clearance to get the belt past the drive, this is a old Snapper riding lawn mower,

The pulley bearing burned out and caused excessive wear on the belt. New pulley and belt and the rider cuts as well as it did new

Took the cover off, removed bolt from pulley, replaced pulley with new bearing included, removed belt (hint: have it in neutral and do not force it; it fits! depressing the clutch while sliding it past the drive wheel helps a lot). If you cannot do it with these simple instructions you should take it to a lawn mower/tractor shop before starting this project
