Product Description ?

This is a genuine OEM approved replacement drive belt. It is supplied by original equipment manufacturer for use with Campbell Hausfeld air compressors. This is the belt that connects the pump and the electric motor. Over time these rubber belts tend to wear out and stretch eventually requiring replacement to maintain peak performance. Always make sure to clean the pulleys before installing the new belt, this will help to ensure longevity of the new belt. Includes one (1) belt per order.

Replacing this belt is a very simple task that should only require a screwdriver.

• Make sure to unplug the compressor and drain the tank
• Remove the cover screws
• Separate the cover from the unit
• Remove the old belt
• Clean the pulleys
• Install the new belt
• Secure the cover with the screws

    1. Removed the front half of safety cage by unclipping snaps.
    2. Cleaned out old belt, or what was left.
    3. Cleaned inside of v-groves on bouth pulleys with wire brush.
    4. Loosened 4 mounting bolts securing motor.
    5. Installed new belt and adjusted by re-positioning motor, then tighten bolts.
    6. Re-installed from half of safety cage.
    7. Started up to check operation (test drive, if you will).

    loosen bolts put on new belt lined up pullies retiened bolts made sure their was no slack plugged back in works great.

    Belt came off pulleys, got caught and destroyed itself

    Put new belt on.
    Wasn't satisfied with belt tension, so removed belt.
    Loosened the bolts on the motor and adjusted it out to reduce slack in belt.
    Reinstalled belt.

    Pulley worn and belt stretched

    Remove the belt guard. Remove the old belt. Remove the set screw from the old pulley. Mark on the shaft where the pulley was positioned. Save the set screw, the new pulley does not include one. Slide the new pulley on the key in the motor shaft. Then tighten the set screw. Place the new belt on the pulley and flywheel. Replace the belt guard.

    Remove belt shield. Loosened electric motor mount bolts. Slid motor ahead. Removed old belt. Installed new belt. Slid motor back to tighten belt. Tightened motor mount bolts. Reinstalled belt shield.
