    Black & Decker belt sander repair
    A bearing worn out and melted plastic housing. Both parts are available from ereplacementparts.com at a very reasonable price and were shipped and received quickly. Repair was successful and I'm sure I will be using ereplacementparts.com in the future.

    2. Install new bearing in new housing
    3. Reinstall armature and housing

    Screwdriver, Socket set, needle vicegrip to hold worm shaft while I remove belt wheel

    pulled the case off the belt drive side.
    removed belt drive wheels / pulley. then reinstalled them and the new bearing into the new case.

    Note that I had 3 of these that needed the same fix.

    1. Disassembled almost the whole tool.
    2. Cleaned out all the saw dust.
    3. Inspected bearing and found bad one.
    4. Ordered replacement bearing.
    5. Installed replacement bearing.
    6. Replace grease in gear box.
    7. Re-assembled tool.
    8. Test operated tool - works great.
