The bearing flange attaches to the choke return spring. It is made of metal and is sold individually. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer and used in carburetors, snowblowers, and lawn tractors made by Weed Eater, Walbro, Husqvarna, Poulan, and Jonsered. A set of pliers might be necessary during the installation of this part. This item will need to be replaced if it breaks.

    Socket set, Nutdriver, Adjustable Wrench

    1 tip snowblower up on front blower.
    2 remove bottom plate retainer screws (2) with nut driver.
    3 remove bottom plate
    4 hold shaft from turning with adjustable wrench
    5 remove bearing retainer nut with socket wrench
    6 remove bearing retainer screws (2) with socket wrench
    7 remove bearing
    8 install new bearing and reinstall retainer screws (2)
    9 reinstall bottom plate with retainer screws (2)
    10 tip snowblower back down on its wheels

    Replaced bearing on differential shaft. One bearing per side.

    Easy job but was difficult to determine noise location. Bearing inside frame, that held bearing balls in place, was destroyed.
