This battery charger is used with a variety of portable generators. It is supplied directly from original equipment manufacturer and it is sold individually. It is used to deliver power from an outlet to the unit. Please note that a weak or defective battery can damage the charger. Weak batteries are batteries with bad cells that would not hold charge. It is advised to test your batteries if you are unsure if the problem is in the charger or the batteries.

1-had to replace the battery it was dead, I have had it for 10 yrs. so can't complain, now replacing the battery was somewhat complicated, first I had to remove the 7 gal. gas tank, then there was a metal plate over the battery (the way the battery sits in the gen. does not allow a person to simply disconnect it and pull it out), so then I had to loosen the metal plate on top of the battery holder enough to allow the battery to lift over a lip where it sits, after that it was just a matter of slipping it out and tighten up the plate, replace the gas tank and test it, I was surprised when it started up (evidently the battery was on a full charge when shipped), then it was just a matter of plugging in the new charger and mission complete.
