When replacing this Assembly you would need a Screwdriver
• First you would need to remove the Plastic Cover/Grille
• Unplug the Power Unit
• Unscrew the Old Assembly and Slide it out
• Place power/blower unit into housing so that mounting plate's tabs insert into slots in housing
• Secure Mounting Bracket with Screws
• Connect the Power Unit and Attach Cover/Grille

2. Remove light fixture(wingnut) & unplug
3. Remove vent plenum
4. Remove power unit mounting screw and unplug
5. Lower power unit.
6. Reverse to assemble.
I did this twice because I have two fan units(1 dead, 1 noisy)

Opened package from ereplacementparts.com, discovered that new motor was ok, but new mounting plate was bent.
Removed bad motor from old mounting plate, transferred new motor onto old plate, installed in fan housing.
The fan in the vent wouldn't work any more.

2. Removed the light bulb
3. Removed the protective and decorative plates behind the light bulb (wing nut)
4. Unplugged the fan and the light fixture
5. Removed the screw holding the fan assembly in place
6. Installed the new fan assembly and secured it with the screw
7. Plugged in the fan and light fixture
8. Replaced the protective and decorative plates
9. Replaced the light bulb
10. Replaced the light bulb
11. Replaced the protective cover for the light bulb
