    1. Removed chain bar cover.
    2. Removed screw retainer.
    3. Removed screw.
    4. Threaded retainer onto screw.
    5. Threaded bar adjustment pin onto screw.
    6. Adusted screw to align bar adjustment pin with adjustment hole in chain bar.
    7. Reinstalled chain bar cover.
    8. Adjusted chain tension.
    9. Tightened cover bolts.

    Threaded pin onto adjustment screw. Re- assemble chain saw and adjusted bar and chain. Ran saw and made final adjustment

    Chain tensioner broken.

    1. Removed the cover.
    2. Installed the retainer in the cover.
    3. Threaded the screw half way through the retainer.
    4. Positioned the bar adjust pin on the end of the screw.
    5. Threaded the screw the rest of the way into the stop until the retainer is captured.
    6. Done! Installed the bar and the chain. Put the cover on with adjusting pin engaged in the bar. Adjusted as needed for proper chain tension.
