This is a genuine part which is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer for use with Ryobi and Ridgid impact drivers. The ball is fitted within the anvil helping to secure a drill bit. If the hardware is damaged or is missing, this will provide an identical replacement for the original ball that was installed on a new unit. Check the appropriate diagrams for your specific model to ensure the proper application. One durable metal ball is included.
