    Place to go for parts!
The springs for (5) “hard to get parts for” reels arrived quickly. The products were great and repairs were performed.

    Worked perfect.
Had a great Shimano reel that I was going to throw away. Checked with replacement and found the three causes of bail flip failure. Installed three parts and reel works like brand new. Replacement is awesome. This is the 3rd time I have gone to your site, found possible problem, ordered parts and repaired successfully.

    Easy repair
Not able to use this reel for four years. Stumbled upon your website and was finally able to get the parts. Worked perfect. Shipping was a dream, very smooth transaction.

    exact part i needed
easy replacement of bail spring that had weakened over 20+ years of use. The bail would close during cast. New Bail spring stopped that. Surprised me that I could find a new one but ereplacement had it.

Removed the screws holding the bail arm on, watch for a small washer on the trigger side. Removed bail and cross bar the bail attached to. Removed the whole spinning housing by sliding off the central post. Cleaned and greased operating parts. Keep in mind there are two very small detent springs. One is placed in the white spacer which has a designated placement between two body posts. The other spring is tensioned by a separate body post. Replace spinning housing, removed side cover on trigger side to access auto bail close arm and spring. Pull this out and replace new parts the same configuration as was found. The small pinched side of the spring is the side the black auto bail trip bar goes in. Put back on side plate with two screws. Replace quick fire parts by two screws. Bail goes back on with one machined metal thread screw and one plastic thread screw. Grease all your parts after cleaning, including the mating faces of the new quick fire trigger parts, allows for easy break in.

The part wasn’t for my reel specifically. The part for mine was no longer available. Found one that looked similar and with a little sanding, my 30 something year old favorite reel was as good as new.
