    Making sure that the chain brake is not engaged. Release the tension on the chain. Remove the two nuts from the assembly and remove it. Then just simply attach the new chain brake assembly. Then adjust the chain to the proper tension.

    Remove the nuts holding the old chain brake and removed it. Make sure the new chain brake is not in the locked position and place it on the saw and tighten the bolts.
