replacement chute were slightly off. I used a screwdriver through the holes to line up with the holes in the base and then force the bolts through the holes in the replacement chute.
If the oval holes were made longer in the replacement chute, this problem would not occur.

Once the original chute was removed, I lined up the holes in the replacement chute to the turntable and inserted the bolts, washers and nuts. I initially left each rather loose in order to be able to make sure the chute was sitting evenly on the turntable. Then securely tightened each.
Then I removed the hardware from the original chute that allows you to adjust the angle/trajectory of the snow discharge ( two nuts, two washers, one bolt and one plastic turn knob. I installed those in the new chute, being careful not to over tighten the nut and bolt on one side in order to allow for ease of adjustment. It's important to make sure the bolt and nut are secure, though, so as to not lose them when operating the machine.
That's it. In all it took about 20 minutes, including searching for a wrench that fit. Very easy replacement.
