Is water leaking from the spray wand on your pressure washer? You probably need to replace it. The spray wand attaches to the trigger handle, and the nozzles attach to the end of the spray wand. There are three common issues that will cause the wand to leak: The O-rings that seal the connections (between the trigger handle or the nozzle) can wear out. A crack in the plastic wand housing can cause a leak as well.
Let's get started.
REMOVING THE SPRAY WAND 1. Remove the nozzle.
a. Pull back the quick-release collar on the coupling.
b. Remove the nozzle from the wand.
2. Remove the wand.
a. Twist and pull the wand assembly away from the trigger handle.
INSTALLING THE NEW SPRAY WAND
3. Install the wand.
a. Apply a small amount of silicone grease to the o-rings on the new wand.
b. Install the new wand onto the trigger handle.
c. Rotate the wand on the trigger handle to lock the assembly in place.
