Ignition coil supplies high voltage to the spark plug on the engine. If the ignition coil is defective, the engine may not start. To complete this repair you would need screwdriver set.

2. Removed old armature/ magneto ( coil/wire ) assembly
3. Cleaned rust and dirt off all visible parts
4. Installed new armature , used matchbook cover to set gap.as instructed.
5. Reassembled flywheel cover.
6. Started lawn tractor and cut the grass.
