The most common reason for replacing suspension arm is if the mower is not steering properly and this steering link is damaged. This part is sold individually. The tools that you will need to replace the suspension arm are a 3/8” socket, 9/16” socket, 1/2” socket, 15/16” socket, adjustable wrench, 1/2” wrench.

Take deck of to gain access to deck suspension arm and remove fuel tank to gain access go c-clip to drop part and replace pretty stra forward.

Mower deck suspension arm was broken

Parts Used
Lowered the deck fully onto the ground. Disconnected the suspension arm linkage. Removed the suspension arm retaining nut and broken arm. Installed in the reverse order.

Once the new part had arrived, it was a simply matter of removing a bolt and nut from the center of the damaged support arm, replacing the new arm and installing two clips at either end of the arm.
