    It fits!
Simple - correct part (be sure to have the correct model and sub-model). Shipping was a bit slow, having to travel from the west coast to the east, but reasonably priced.

Inserted one end into the bracket/plate attached directly to the mower body and the other to the mowing deck, adding the washer and cotter pin.
The biggest hassle was the fact that I couldn't find any on-line 'blow-up' drawings of the actual assembly since the mowing deck was described in one drawing the the body of the tractor was on another and the rod was sort of shown, but without dotted lines or anything else showing exactly where it needed to go. Fortunately, the Husqvarna dealer where I purchased it was only about a 20 minute drive away, so I was able to look at another mower and figure out how it was supposed to attach.

Had to evaluate the placement of the bar as the original part had been removed and schematics did not advise WHERE the bar attached. Had to consult several Youtube videos. The belt is the best quality, toughest and best performing I have ever put on this machine.

Tried to straighten the bar, but still would not stay in place. Looked up part # from ereplacement and ordered one. When it arrived, I could see the difference compared to the old one. Wow. It went into place. Problem solved. Thank you. Dwayne
