This is a Manufacturer Approved replacement part designed for Gas String Trimmers. The purpose of this Cover is to secure Foam Filter which is Sold Individually and protect internal parts like Carburetor from dirt and debris. This Assembly includes Plastic Outer Cover, Plastic Insulator and Two (2) Metal Bolts used to attach it to the unit. Replacing this part will require a Phillips Head or a Flat Head Screwdriver. To replace simply remove two Screws and pull off the Cover. Please note when replacing this item it is recommended to also replace Air Cleaner Gasket (Sold Separately) which provides an air tight seal between carburetor and Insulator.

Removed two screws off the back of the air cleaner assembly, air cleaner backing plate comes off, simply replace with new plate and replace screws. Snap on air cleaner cover with new air cleaner in place. Couldn't have been easier.

Ordered the housing which included the cover and back of the air cleaner housing. Install the air filter into the air cleaner assembly. Thread in the two screws provide to attach it.
