Its purpose is to filter out dust and debris from contaminating the carburetor and the engine, over time filters will get dirty and clogged eventually requiring replacement to ensure the proper air flow. This kit includes one high-quality pleated paper filter and one foam pre-filter.

Replaced Spark Plug, Gapped at 0.030. Replaced Air Filter. Replaced fuel line with FILTER. Cleaned grass from area of Air Filter. This was main cause of problem, prevented carburetor stuff from working properly. No doubt the Fuel Line with Filter needed replacement took, it was partially plugged. Downloaded Maintenance manual for engine from Toro site. That's all folks.
